Cultured, classy and self-assured, Regine Hunter changes boyfriends as often as she changes pricey outfits. Childhood friends, Khadijah and Regine are tight, even though their lives have taken totally different directions. Born and raised in East Orange, New Jersey, Regine is very image-conscious, somewhat spoiled and gossips. She liked fashion, is a connoisseur of wigs and often seen donning all hairstyles.

Régine dates a lot, looking for a steady relationship. In the pilot episode, "Judging By the Cover", she dates a married man, Brad Hamilton. Eventually, from her friends' urging, she discovers his secret and she ultimately breaks up with him.
